My own practice and journey with mindfulness meditation started more than 20 years ago and has changed my life in such profound and positive ways that I felt compelled to learn to teach it so I could share it with others.
This led me to complete an extensive 2-year mindfulness meditation teacher training with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. Meditating as part of a group as well as on my own and the commitment to doing this regularly is a big part of my life.
People often ask if it is better to meditate alone or with others.
My answer to that is it is ideal to do both.
There are benefits to each. And those benefits are best known for experiencing them.
